It’s kind of interesting that the WWE decided to have an 18 Diva tag match tonight withe the Divas one could only assume will be taking part in the WrestleMania Diva Battle Royal. Interesting because they may be giving away a few of the mystery Divas that we hadn’t quite confirmed. Present were Melina, Eve, Kelly Kelly, Brie Bella, Gail Kim, Alicia Fox, Tiffany, Maria and Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Nikki Bella, Jillian Hall, Maryse, Michelle McCool, Layla, Katie Lea, Rosa and Natalya.
The former blonde bombshell Diva turned brunette reality star is still on the grind and isn’t just reporting the weather these days. You can catch Trish signing autographs at the Radical Speedsport Card Show in Moncton, NB on 4/25. Though I’ve been a subscriber to her site for quite some time it seems to be lacking updates. Though I do have to say that I love the inclusion of her on the road work out. I’ve always wondered how she got those abs of steel. You can let Trish train you here.
I recently took this WWE Diva quiz on Myspace and I have to say it did not get my inner Diva AT ALL! Though the quiz was short and sweet it ended up telling me my WWE Diva was Ivory when I’ve always been sure I was more Jillian. I then explored another quiz and got the more accurate result of Trish Stratus. You can take the quiz for yourself here.
In anticipation of their new DVD Amy Vs. Joy- the divas took to the airwaves to plug and open up on “In Your Head.” Amy happily told the host, “I cannot wait to get my hands on this girl.” The Thing that always bothered me that Joy was always running her mouth and relying on her looks, in tiny little outfits.”When asked if being apart of the Diva Search made other wrestlers treat her differently. She said, “Absolutely, They had every right to treat us differently.”
Candice Michelle is not leaving the WWE anytime soon. The Diva decided to take to her blog to open up about her injuries and her fate in terms of the WWE and recovery. From what we know of Candice this girl is a fighter and has no intention of letting a few set backs get in her way. She may not be able to appear at WrestleMania, which was pretty dissapointing but none the less she has a long way to go along with a long career ahead. You can read her blog entry below!
“I just wanted to catch up with y’all since its been awhile since Ive been on Raw and there has been many speculations on why? Unfortunately I have been injured again! No its not my collarbone or anything in association with that! My collarbone is 100% healed! I was training really hard actually twice a day and while doing a flying punch on a bag that was held by a donut like apparatus I landed on it, rolled my ankle and fell on it! I have 2 torn ligaments one a 3rd degree sprain and the other a 2nd degree. However I’m healing really well and faster than what doctors expected! My injury was just a mishap unlike what others have heard or said, just a misfortunate event! After what I’ve been through I am a pro at this,haha!”
“Also, people have asked me if I’m leaving the wwe or that my contract is expiring in Oct. 2009, well this is so FALSE!!! First off my contract is not expiring this year and most importantly I have NO desire to leave WWE! I am still focused and gearing up for another return!” “I have asked myself and prayed alot on why I have taken a back seat with another injury?! What I do know is what it feels like to be on the mountain top, and i know what the valley is like all to well, but i have news for all the Haters who have all these crazy reasons on why they think they know me and why my career at WWE is over…I am not unpacking my bags down in this valley but climbing out of it, even with one foot!lol! I have had a taste of the top so I know that the fight is worth it! I can preach and say x,y and z. However, this time ill just show you! I’m not too frail, injury prone, too old, nor have i lost my passion! Misfortune happens and that’s what makes me stronger and builds resiliency! So just know that weather you respect me, hate me, judge me, spread false accusations about me, this is my journey and I say when its over so hear me loud and clear I’m saying “ITS NOT OVER!!”
As if the 25 Diva Battle Royal was not enough to keep us tuned in to WrestleMania 25! The WWE has added Kid Rock AND The Pussycat Dolls to the roster. I was excited to hear Nicole Scherzinger is scheduled to open the even with America The Beautiful. The singer who is currently opening for Britney Spears on tour was recently out sick and no one was quite sure if it was serious. But looks like Nicole is a fighter and a perfect fit for the WWE! Looks like she will finally get to take her place in the ring.
Trish Stratus made a special appearance on a local news station to report the weather on the first day of Spring. We love Trish but the new look seems to derive from former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin who was infamously mocked on SNL by TV uber-genius Tina Fey. Keen observers may have noticed that the original graphic for the 25 Diva Royal was two Divas short. The graphic aired during the replay of Raw on Saturday night. So will Gail Kim and Candice Michelle be appearing. It seems Gail is set to attend but Candice may be suffering from an ankle injury that could prevent her from leaving the sidelines.

Word is that Joy Giovanni was hanging out backstage at Monday’s Raw in San Antonio. Apparently the former 2004 Diva Search contestant was just simply visiting friends. You may remember Joy finishing in third place but she was later signed and then shortly after released.
